House Hunting
I have had a few complaints that my Swedish is not the best these days so I write this comment in English instead. Which probably is the language that comes the easiest to me after living here a bit over 3,5 years ;-).
Anyway we are very busy house hunting and getting mortgage approval and that's why the activity has been very low lately, I apologise to all my dear readers ;-)
Well I suppose I can still provide you with an update on the house hunting matters, We have viewed THE house once more i.e. yesterday and this time Pauline came with us. As of her comments I think she liked the house as much as us. And I fell in love even more. This time around I got to see the way the evening sun hits the garden.. and I dont mind that the garden is south facing, it still gets sun all day and there is at least one sun trap in the back garden.
Then today we went to view a second house in the same area, with the attic converted and an extension to the rear. The house was huge! with Irish measures BUT it has been rented for the last while and all of you how ever visited me in any of my previous accomodations know what to expect from rented houses. This showed even in this house, and even though both me!? and Paul has some building experience, we are office people. I dont mind a bit of painting and building a decking area, but when it comes to plastering and coving I dont know if we be up for all the work ;-)
Anyway we put an offer on the first one yesterday, keep your fingers crossed that we get it!
Now back to reaserch the internet and mortgage rates and providers, 'till next time, take care
